Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder Glow

I’ve had this product sitting on my desk since well before Christmas and it’s only in the past few days that I’ve got around to trying it out. I am not a fan of powder at all with only an occasional dip into a pot of Dior that I’ve had for years for the most part so I have limited personal experience. However, what reeled me into trying this is the ‘glow’ aspect.

This powder is whispy-fine – feeling like nothing at all on your skin. I don’t have oily skin and actively like a dewy finish but I did like the effect which, in truth, is barely noticeable. It’s a product for complexion refiners – those that like the very minute detail of a perfected skin finish and for that, it’s about as good as it gets. There’s a very subtle golden element to this powder that gives the lightest of lustres to soften and add radiance. You can just see it in the picture below.

You’d need to go heavier I imagine if you’re using it to banish sheen and the lustre may well be more obvious but I think I’d always opt for glow than no glow especially if it’s as natural looking as this. It’s £29 HERE.
